Life of the Pilgrim children in Plymouth (home-school-coach.com)

Please click the link above to discover how the Pilgrim children were living life in the new colony. As we discovered yesterday, the colony would begin to thrive after the advice from Squanto on how to farm, helped solve the problem of food shortage for the colonists. The colony grew and that meant society formed. There were very strict rules for children and hard work. The children were expected to help with siblings and to help farm or tend to the animals very early in the morning.  Girls and boys were treated differently and learned different skill sets. After reading the article about the children's lives in Plymouth, how you think you would do living in these conditions? Do you recognize any of the games these children played? Do you still play any of these games with your friends?
