Day 5 Let's visit the first Thanksgiving in America, a tradition started out of two different cultures coming together to help each other.

Thanksgiving was started in an effort to benefit the Indians and the Pilgrims. The Pilgrim's put to use the knowledge of the Wampanoag tribe towards their farming and had great results. The Pilgrims would thank God for the great harvest and in celebration of the harvest they shared with the Indians. As American's, we spend time with our families and eat lots of food for Thanksgiving. There are many events that now center around this American holiday created out of friendship and love for fellow man. Now that we have made it to the end of this story in history, would you have rather been a Pilgrim or an Indian at the first Thanksgiving? Tell me what is your favorite food to eat on your Thanksgiving Day feast? If you do not celebrate Thanksgiving, tell me what you think would be your favorite food to eat during a celebration?
